Artist Alley (SOLD OUT)

Balticon’s Artist Alley is a place for artists to meet the public and interact with their fans. It is a place to demonstrate your artistic techniques and sell your original art: both originals and prints. Tables are curated so that we can offer fans a wide range of talented artists’ offerings.

The Artist Alley Director will be on site no later than 12 pm to help you locate your tables, and assist with any last minute details. She will have your badge(s) after Registration opens at approximately 3 pm.

Martina was born in Florida, which was probably the last time she wasn’t cold. After living all over the U.S., she found herself in West Virginia where she graduated with an M.A. in English from West Virginia University. Since then, she has worked as a technical writer, editor, and adjunct instructor.In her spare time, Martina enjoys comics, sci-fi, hockey, and art. She has written as a hobby since she was a tween, and recently founded Befuddling Books to publish her work. Her first novel, a satiric take on time travel called Time Binge, was published in 2016. Its sequel, Time Purge, was released shortly thereafter. Her third, a superhero parody entitled The Bedazzlers, is currently in the works. Her style draws from her love of comic books, combining science fiction, fantasy, and humor.
