As of late Tuesday, May 22, it is still possible to pre-purchase single-day parking for $9.00 for Monday May 28 (a savings of $9.00) using this link for Balticon parking:  https://pabc.clickandpark.com/venue?search[venue_id]=338
(select the Renaissance Hotel venue and proceed from there). Single-day parking on Friday evening starting after 4 p.m., on Saturday  all day, and on Sunday all day, can still be obtained for $9/day at the 414 Water St. Garage — simply pay in cash each day.
End of May 22 update.

Reserve your spot at 414 Water Street. 443-681-6905. 5 min. walk about three blocks from the hotel. Clearance: 6 ft. 4 in. Baltimore City Parking Authority has given us a discounted rate of $9 per day at the 414 Water Street garage. This discount is available for purchase Thursday, May 24 through Monday, May 28, but all parking pre-sales for the 414 Water St. garage will be discontinued on May 23. You must purchase these parking passes prior to the start of Balticon. That is, May 23 is the last day to buy discounted parking.

The basic rule is you must have a pass for the day you enter the garage, the days you stay in the garage, and a pass for the day you leave. Thus if you want to go from Friday through Sunday, then you need 3 one-day passes for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, regardless of the time you leave on Sunday. If you leave on Sunday and want to reenter on Sunday and leave Monday, you would need 2 more passes for Sunday and Monday. No in-out privileges.

Discounted passes may be combined to allow you to park continually from Thursday or Friday through Monday as described in the bullets below. Buy each day separately. You cannot just drive up and get this rate. This is a pre-paid online offer only, which will also ensure that a parking spot will be available for you. Use the link below to get the discounted rate.

You must purchase your passes one at a time to receive the full discount. Purchase your first day’s pass, then shop again to purchase your next day’s pass, etc. Optionally, you can create an account from your first day’s entries and use the account to purchase additional day’s passes. Note: This garage is listed simply as “Water St.” on the shopping page.

You will need one pre-purchased pass for each day parked, regardless of the time of day.

Monday parking: The Balticon discounted pass does not carry beyond 11:59 p.m. on Monday. Be sure to leave the garage before then.

When you are ready to leave, first take your entry ticket and all of your pre-printed day passes (or pass, for single day parking) to the office on the 2nd floor of the garage on the Commerce Street side. They will provide you with an exit card. Do not leave your entry ticket or your parking passes visible on your dashboard while parking. That is not necessary in this garage.
