BALTICON HAS MOVED TO A NEW VENUE!
The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel
Balticon 50 will be held at The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, 202 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202, USA
The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel has sold out at this time. We have sold more sleeping rooms than at any time in Balticon history by a margin of at least 100 rooms on peak night. Those people with reservations at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel can use the old reservations link to check, or alter requests for things like mini-fridges etc. There are apparently some rooms in the hotel under contract to other sales channels, but they are very expensive types or you need to have a corporate contract with Marriott to get them etc… If you want to take a room outside the block, and can find one, then feel free.
If you want to be on the wait-list Balticon is maintaining to get folks into our block send your name, daytime accessible phone number, postal address, preferred check-in/check-out dates and any special requests to email@example.com. We don’t expect many drop outs and any that occur will likely happen very near the con. If you find you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know a few days in advance by sending your name and confirmation number to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can move the room over to someone on the list.
Unlike other years, when we needed to make the block to preserve the convention, if you want to use an online booking site to find a room we encourage you to do so, however, for your convenience we are arranging for overflow room blocks.
WHERE WE ARE IN THE HOTEL!
We had overflow contracts with five hotels. One has rooms and is keeping the block open a bit longer till May 9, 2016. All others are reporting full and could not supply additional rooms as of May 4, 2016.

Some great news: The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel has an overhead walkway from the hotel to Harborplace (Baltimore Inner Harbor), which has a plethora of good eateries. Unfortunately, the overhead walkway is not wheelchair-accessible. There are food vendors ranging from sit-down restaurants to snack bars all around the hotel, so food choices abound.
If you need special accommodations, or have any questions or problems, please email Dale Arnold through email@example.com.
The hotel does not, unfortunately, offer a shuttle service.
