Author Special Guest: Larry Niven

Larry Niven is a long-time SF fan and award-winning author. He is best known for his hard SF stories including the Known Space series (Ringworld, Fleet of Worlds, etc.)  He also writes “hard fantasy” in The Magic Goes Away series in which magic follows logical rules. His collaboration with Jerry Pournelle produced A Mote in God’s Eye, Lucifer’s Hammer, and other novels. He has screenwriter credits for episodes of Land of the Lost and Star Trek: The Animated Series. He continues to write prolifically both alone and in collaboration. His most recent novel is The Seascape Tattoo (2016) with Steven Barnes. He has served as a judge for the Hubbard Writers/Illustrators of the Future awards. A rare native Californian, Larry still resides there with his wife and fellow SF fan Marilyn (Fuzzy Pink) Niven.
